Deeptine Aeration

Deeptine Aeration

No turf field can escape the effects of soil compaction. Hollow core and slice aeration go some way to alleviating this compaction, however they are not capable of reducing compaction below a limited depth. Deeptine aeration uses sold tines, driven under power into the soil which breaks up the hardpan where hollow core aeration and slicing have no effect. Deeptining increases pore space (fractures) deeper into the soil profile and improves water movement. Root depth mirrors aeration depth, the deeper you aerate, the deeper your roots.
Healthy, vigrous grass requires healthy soil and aeration is key. Deeptine aeration helps in this by:
  • Increasing air exchage
  • Increasing water uptake
  • Increasing fertilizer uptake
  • Increasing root depth
  • Increasing resiliancy and cushioning
