Topdressing and Overseeding
Topdressing is the practice of applying material to the playing surface for many reasons. Heavy soils that would benefit from incorporating sand for improved drainage, sandy soils that would benefit from increased organic matter or to re-establish the field's crown lost through years of use. Topdressing also improves the evenness of the field surface by building up over time low areas caused by uneven wear patterns. We can work with you on selecting the correct product for your needs and apply it quickly and efficently.
Overseeding is an effective way to address thin, worn parts of the field related to uneven wear. It is also an ideal way to continually introduce new grass seed varities into the turf without preventing the field from being used. It provides the oppurtunity to seed areas in anticipation of future use and by knowing use schedules in advance we can schedule applications based on those events.
